What bothers me is when he drops stuff on the floor instead of in the hamper. That means that either 1) I wash everything, or 2) he gets to wear dirty clothes. It could go either way depending on my mood at the moment.

Also, they get way dirtier than his civi-clothes. But once you have kids (so I've found) separating clothes becomes less and less of an issue. Except for baby clothes that get mushy mud pie on them. That always gets a separate load. lol

I am just now coming to the realization that they need to be washed separately. Mainly because it's better than the alternative (i.e., he stuffs things in drawers and they end up wrinkly). My husband did ours for a couple weeks after my surgery and told me he was going to take it over after he found $20 in one of my pockets. I told him he'd have to fold everything neatly. He's letting me do it now.

[/quote] It's easier for me to do it all since his work hours aren't always exactly the same. He WILL wash his stuff, but I usually get to it first. Besides that, he pitches in with house cleaning, dish washing, and cooking dinner. He takes our kids out to play at the park and on walks by himself. He does so much to help out I'm not going to complain about washing his jeans in with mine and the kids.
