Once again, don't care. :)

I was rather proud of my own post, actually.

Only problem with not caring is once people take the mark of the beast there is no going back.
They go to hell for forever and there is no chance of repentence.
Granted holding true to the fact the catholic church is the true church of Christ we have nothing to worry about because our leaders will warn us.
Although it seems the catholic church is being torn in two and there are alota pro choice catholics and everything else. If somehow a false pope arises and leads catholics to take the mark of the beast that would be awful. Although you're still right you dont need to worry about it becasue you are not one of those catholics who would be decieved.

Usually when people worry too much about end times they stop focusing on other things upon which they ought to be...

I hope I wouldn't be deceived... :P

You actually missed what I was getting at though, because I worded it poorly. I was referring to the crux of my earlier point, which I will repost for you.
Still, it's all beside the point. Doing everything I can for my own salvation and the salvation of those around me is what matters. Even if it was assured that the world was ending a week from today that wouldn't change a thing. I refuse to get hung up on the apocalypse.
The key isn't the end of the world. It's salvation. That's what I'm getting at. If the world were ending tomorrow, in a month, or in a billion years, the key is still the salvation of immortal souls, and the methods for doing so are never going to change.

agreed although all faithfull should know that satan himself is coming to the earth at the 6th trump before Jesus Christ returns at the 7th trump. I mean if you deny that or assume Christ is coming first you are on the route to be decieved.

although i strongly agree with what you are saying because i can see how it has happened in my own life.

Godbless,
Josh

Yep you are right it's going to smell of elderberries though for false christian churches outside of the cathoic church. This newage christian church that will oppose the Catholic Church will deceive those in to accept satan and take on the mark of the beast believing that it really is Jesus Christ

"For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect." Matthew 24:24 (NKJV)

"He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived." Revelation 13:13-14

And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a MARK in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the MARK, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. Rev. 13:16-18

In truth, we know little about what is going to happen during end times besides what we have received from Scripture and Traidition interpreted by the Magisterium.

Still, look at it this way:

how is this potential scenario different from now? It's not really, at the core. There are still false churches. We still need to convert them. We still have the True Faith. Makes no difference when the world ends; they still need to be converted.

well I just saw Krux of the matter on ewtn and the priest was saying that we do indeed believe in the antichrist and he will come under a huge spirtual deception before the return of Christ.

To say that satan is not coming to earth before Christ returns is really misleading. Because he will come and he will decieve the whole entire earth.

If we have too many preconceived notions of how it's going to happen, we're going to be deceived all the easier.

Yep agree 110 % and God told me the same thing today.

Also told me how one can recieve the mark of the beat before the antichrist actually comes by :

The Catechism explains simply that there will be a "supreme religious deception" before the second coming of Christ and that the supreme form of this deception is that of the Antichrist, who will bring "a pseudo-messianism by which man glorifies himself in place of God and of his Messiah come in the flesh"
