That commercial has been conquered by the blood of Jesus, we conquer all the influences of the netherworld on that commercial by the blood of Adonai Yeshua. Luthien
I remember seeing that ad. Way to blame the kid for your mistakes.

prose
"It would have been better if this child had never been born." And people find it funny and acceptable. Sad.
Sojourner
I've seen this before too. Along similar lines, it really bugs me when people talk about babysitting kids as being "birth control." Like, if you see what kids are really like, you wouldn't want to have any of your own.
Paladin D
Actually, that commercial shows to me that he's a bad parent. I would've taken that kid to the restroom...

homeschoolmom
Man... just call Supernanny. Don't wish the kid's life away just because you smell of elderberries as a parent.

jenn91988
Oh man. I had to watch that in a first year human geography class. It was supposed to exemplify the Netherland's view of children (or something like that-this was 2 years ago). The class laughed; I was horrified. Word to the wise: don't take human geography for "fun" at a liberal university. We learned all about how "civilized" cultures are the ones with low birth rates and high use of contraceptives. Yuck.
