What's "Christ is Risen! He is truly Risen" in old Slavic and Latin again? I can't seem to find it in the PM archives.

Apotheoun
In the icon Christ rises from the dead, and – while He stands on the broken gates of hades – He pulls Adam and Eve out of the grave of death with Him, and gives them eternal life. Apotheoun
Note also how Christ is pulling Adam and Eve out of the grave by their wrists.

I heard or read this once, but then I saw what I assumed was an icon that had shadows in it... I figure you'd know.
Apotheoun
I have never seen any icons where the figures cast shadows, but I cannot say for certain that this holds in every case. I think it would odd for there to be shadows in an icon, because the saints are not simply bathed in the uncreated Light of Tabor as if it were something external to them; instead, that holy light emanates from them.
