Apotheoun
Standing around Christ (behind Adam and Eve) are various Old Testament personages, kingly and prophetic. To the right of Christ (i.e., standing behind Adam at Christ's right hand) are King David and King Solomon, and standing with them is St. John the Baptist. On Christ's left (i.e., standing behind Eve) are Moses, and Abel (holding the staff), and normally some other prophet or patriarch is depicted standing with them.
