Wasn't that what Mikolbe voted about a trillion times? Do you remember that?

I can't vote yet. I have to think about this. It's between a B and a C though.

I gave him a C. Much like the current administration, he was faced with a number of issues that would normally consume an average presidency. He made a few mis-steps at times, he made some mistakes, but he didn't do anything to cripple the nation and he did some good things as well.

B.
He did some good things for the pro-life movement.
Was the War in Iraq a misstep? Maybe.
But a president doesn't start a war all by his lonesome.

I'm not going to lie, that was part of my motivation for posting this.

Fidei Defensor

C. He handled the terrorism crisis as well as anyone could. He gets an A for being an inspiration during those times, however. But the mishaps with the war and the way his administration was run brings the grade to a C.

D. Put in some effort, thought he was doing the right thing. Started okay, then went down hill quick. Still doesn't actually pass.

Nihil Obstat

I voted C. I'm not as well informed as most of you though.

People gave him a tough time, often unfairly. He made mistakes, but then again, everyone does. C seems to fit.

I'm assuming this is the administration, and not just the president himself

D. For a lack of respect for all life, and for a lack of respect for the Constitution.

I wasn't aware the president was an autocrat. Let's pretend he came up with our entire economic system and that the problems started only 8 years ago. I'd also like a pony. That flies and fluffy air extractions cotton candy.
-General Stupidity
Ah, yes. He had an accent and didn't use teleprompters like current president Ron Burgundy. He put through a good (not perfect) compromise for embryonic stem cell research, but we'll pretend he's stupid because high quality entities like CNN say so!

I gave him a D. Mind you, I voted for him twice, too. I came short of an F on account of his good work in the pro-life cause and for fighting against embryonic stem cell use and giving out abortions and condoms to poor countries. But he got a D for helping make a wreck of our economy, the war in Iraq, refusal to deal strongly with the issue of Islamic terrorism, kissing the Saudi king, appeasing the Saudis even as they raised our oil prices to nearly unbearable heights, refusing to allow the border fence to be finished as he promised, doing nothing about the situation of illegal immigration, forcing his dreadful stimulus package on us and thus setting a precedence for Obama to do the same but worse, refusing to go into Sudan after he was begged to both by the dying and displaced Sudanese as well as various organizations all over America and the world, for turning his back on Israel, and in general for being a sham.

Since when are we as a sovereign nation obligated to defend the morally dubious state of Israel?
I don't believe in "terrorism" as you define it. A lot of nation states kill more civilians than terrorists.
Even if Saddam funded terrorism, is it prudent for us to invade Iraq? Even the Church came out against this war.

I see no response to torture.... I guess that's not immoral anymore?
