[quote name='Aloysius' date='Mar 24 2004, 03:11 AM']i read it in a book, but that guy.  i think he has a doctor as part of his name?  i can't think of his name now.  it was called "The Rosary, Mysteries, Meditations, and the telling of the beads"  it's one of the sweetest books i've ever read.

linguistics rule ... the mystery of human language fascinates me to no end.

anyway, yeah I remember posting this. I also remember reading it. It remains one of the most interesting facts contained in my brain, ranking right there next to my newly attained knowledge that pig DNA contains the information for forming wings and in fact, with one slight genetic defect on the part that tells cells not to read the wing instructions, pigs actually could fly.

The Author's name is Kevin Orlin Johnson. The book is out of print, but the publisher has a few copies left.

Pretty awesome book, though sometimes he does not always present both sides of an argument faitly. Still, he is an awesome author.

 why is he supposed to present both sides of an argument? he's publishing a book of his research and his argument... let the other side of an argument publish their own book.

But if one does present the other side, to make a straw man out of it is a fallacy.

The book changed my life, though I still play sports for example, which he argues against.

Still, I repeat the book changed my life, and I own most of what he has written.

The book about Angels is awesome.
