Hebrew Rocks!

the rabbis all lamented after the seige of Jerusalem that the יה was seperated from the וה it the Tetragram, the four letter name of God YHWH, יהוה.

the shin: ש , is another hebrew letter. it is the first letter of the word in the old testament that was used to indicate the Power of God leading them away from Egypt. This symbol was a common symbol in the Early Church for the Holy Spirit.

Anyway, when Jerusalem was seiged the rabbis all lamented that the יה was separated from the וה and they would not be reunited until the Messiah came in glory. now the cool part: put the ש in between the יה and the וה and you get

יהשוה

that's the name of Jesus in hebrew. ;) the four letter יהוה is unpronouncable! we say "Yahweh" or something of the like, but in reality it is unpronouncable. however the shin (the symbol and first letter of the hebrew word for the Holy Spirit), ש, makes it Yeheshua, the unpronouncable name becomes pronouncable and mankind is reconciled to God.

i posted something about this b4 but now i finally figured out how to get hebrew text. i thought it'd explain the symbols in my member title ;) :)
Wow - let the Jehovah's Witnesses tell me Jesus isn't God now! LOL
Well, unfortunately they would say that Yahweh is God either. They won't accept anything but "Jehovah".

i read it in a book, but that guy. i think he has a doctor as part of his name? i can't think of his name now. it was called "The Rosary, Mysteries, Meditations, and the telling of the beads" it's one of the sweetest books i've ever read.
