VoTeckam
I started watching reruns a few weeks ago and LOVED the series. I am really facinated with the characters (particularly House... whom I think I like too much). But after watching a lot of the marathon yesterday the plot formula got really old. Cold open, 2 or 2 misdiagnoses (you can tell whether or not it is the correct one based on what time it is), followed by some banter with Wilsont hat ultimately sparks something in House's brian and the patient is cured. I am confident that at least 90% of the episodes follow this exactly.
CatholicCid
Yes, most of the normal episodes are like that. I like to think that they use this skeleton structure more so as the show is about character interaction/development, with the occasional interesting patient. If you watched it strictly for the medical procedure, then it'd be pretty easy to get bored. Though, they still do often shake it up each season with an episode that breaks from this rigor (mortis). Tab'le De'Bah-Rye
Peace, Hey just on the whole house slowly possibly degrading and more and more imoral fibres are being strung into houses outfit. Is that not how alot of u.s.a shows go? the first 2 seasons are semi good and than slowly add degragation here and there and than most of the time till your head explodes? Even now some like Desperate house wives are doing it off the bat, switch em all off as soon as the show enough hints at immorality and no longer will the show be a number one hit and producers will start to get the point, but if everyone just sits there because of the first two seasons, for three years after the first two seasons where a morally correct show is put on every two than every three episodes and than every 4 or 5... and as it lessens there is throwin in a hint of morality each episode ...we have to stop hanging on switch it off... Americans are not STUPID and i refuse to believe it, your just being tricked! GOD LOVE US ALL AND GOD KICK THE MUSIC, T.V. , AND MOVIE INDUSTRIES BUTTS( for being as cuddly as a baby wolf and than turning into a child eater) full stop no returns :oP And no i'm not void of sin and yes sometimes i do persist in watching croutons at other peoples houses... hey get this i put my t.v in a local car park and cut the electrical cord and wrote on the screen " I'm a blasphemous hore(revelations plug) (no not that i go round cutting up women that sleep around, much rather i would like to teach them that there is far more to love than the flesh), than atop the t.v i wrote " And than i wrote atop the t.v. ( clean me[and than the rated (G) symbol HAHA.) WORD ! Edited May 11, 2009 by Tab'le Du'Bah-Rye

CatherineM
For a minute there, I thought he was going to wake up from some kind of coma and find out that he dreamed a bunch of stuff like Wilson's girlfriend dying. I'll bet it was weird for those two to do a wedding since they were really engaged at one point but have now broken up.

I was kinda having flashbacks to that older one where he got shot and was unconscious for most of the episode. Remember? Haha, I didn't know that! Would have been an awkward last few episodes having to kiss each other all the time and stuff.
N/A Gone
Wow, the producers like Amber, they keep finding ways to bring her back. Good way to pump some life back into the series. Not sure how much longer they can keep doing the same thing though. It really is beginning to venture into soap opera territory.
You just do not know a good show. I think this is my favorite show, but it could be because of how I see House. I share a lot of similar traits with him. Similar personality, sarcasm, vicodin battles and pain. Ironically I wanted to go to school for genetics or disease diagnostics before I went for ministry. CatherineM
Yeah, I totally get his cranky and in pain all the time persona.
Nihil Obstat
I wish I was as witty and willing to be confrontational as he is.
