Aloysius
alright, i know that when we receive the Eucharist His physical presence only remains with us while it is still under the appearence of bread and wine. otherwise there'd be a horrible problem that every single person who ever received the Eucharist committed horrid sacrilidge in the bathroom. we know this is not the case, and that when the visible appearance of bread/wine is gone His physical presence leaves while His spiritual presence remains been impressed upon our souls and in our hearts. we know He is fully present even in the slightest crumb. but if it is not visibly bread anymore does it cease to be His physical presence? i was just wondering especailly with arguments against reception of communion in the hand. Carson Weber
Aloysius, As long as the bread remains, Jesus remains, even to the smallest particle. Jesus' real presence is not contingent upon our eyesight.
