I've found that to be quite irritating.

Because I can still view people's profiles and all their IM information. I just need to logout and view as a guest. I just tried it and could see all the IM information and profiles of members here. Of course I can't contact them through the site by pm or whatnot, or amend my own profile, but if I had the itch I could cause trouble by contacting people through their IM's Might be better for dUSt to create a group that only all trusted members are a part of so that they can view profiles. Then guests won't be able to view either, so it would keep us untouchables away, both when we are logged in and when we are not . Just a suggestion. edit: or a much simpler solution (if it can be done with the forum specs) is just not allow guests to view profiles either. It doesn't solve any problems, but the sheer arbitrary arrogance would be delightful.

Though it wouldn't really do anything for the problem of keeping me from view profiles as one could still do it as a guest on any number of computers I'd recommend just adding guests to the list of ppl who can't view profiles.
