eagle_eye222001
I have the canoeing merit badge. Have no idea in buying them though. I know how to operate them. ---------------- Listening to: VeggieTales (Veggie Tunes) - The B-O-Y-Z Dance via FoxyTunes

dauntingknight
I'm good at it but can't go that often. I also have the canoeing Merit badge like the wise old Eagle has said I know how to operate them but don't know a darn thing about buying them. Maximilianus
I don't canoe but I too earned the merit badge in the Scouts. The type of canoe you get would depend on the factors txdinghysailor mentioned. Your budget will be a facor as well.

Also, how often will you be getting resupplied? If you're going out for 3 months straight you need a different canoe than if you get more food every 2-3 weeks.
