But wether it is or not it is a bad thing. Why would we want to pave the way for a one world empire?
So basically the teaching is true then. No one will be able to buy or sell without the mark of the beast on their forehead or wrist. I wish the church taught more on this if this is the case. It's a pretty big deal. I don't know about others, but I just don't.
Can I ask you why you don't ? Just for the record I dont wan't to believe it either because if it's true why even work and save ? But it seems like its being taught by alot of the seperated brothers and sisters in Christ. And it does seem to indicate in revelations that it is talking about a time right before Christ comes where the antichrist will come and set up a one world currency so that anyone that does not accept it cannot buy or sell and will be killed. The past 2,000 years have been marked with people thinking they were living in the end times and getting wrapped up in millenniumism and so-forth. Yet even Jesus in scripture says He doesn't know when the end times are -- only the Father knows. The only end I am interested in is my own end. As for working and saving, God made us to work. It's not a part of our fallen nature, but a natural part of our intended purpose. Before "the fall" God made human to work. It's our purpose. And saving is a part of caring for our families and our selves -- even if it's saving food and clothing. That said, we don't have to use Government Currency. "Money" is something that all parties involved agree has value. If you to have as little as possible to do with the Federal State, as I do, consider looking into Counter-Economics. Counter-Economics is largely what brought down the Soviet State. It's what's weakening the Iranian State right now. And it can help resist a Global State, and keep power close to We The People. At the very least, Counter-Economics will enable you and I to avoid participating in the Global State tomorrow, and the Federal State today. They have a group for Agorists and more. I almost forgot to add, that the Liberty Dollar has been looking mighty good to me lately. http://www.libertydollar.org/ It's actual silver, and so it's based in something that carries more value than the word of the Political Class. Agora! Lounge Daddy
UPDATE:Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) has introduced legislation that would "bar the dollar from being replace by any foreign currency." It's coming, and Congress knows it. Not all of them are going down that road with their hands politely folded in their laps with a pleasant smile.

Lounge Daddy
If it seems like Governments around the world are sabotaging the economy on purpose, it is because they are. They are planning to roll our a new Global Currency, and a Global Government will follow.

Enter the Global Reserve.
A UN panel of expert economists pressed Thursday for a new global currency reserve scheme to replace the volatile, dollar-based system and for coordinated steps by rich countries to stimulate their economies. "A new Global Reserve System -- what may be viewed as a greatly expanded SDR (Special Drawing Rights), with regular or cyclically adjusted emissions calibrated to the size of reserve accumulations, could contribute to global stability, economic strength and global equity," the panel said.
