mom25angels
At the moment I use the NSRV Catholic edition. We have so many in the house, I can pick and choose, but I use it daily because the one I have has a daily reading chart in it that I'm working my way through. Norseman82
For the NAB, the 1987 revision is the one with more inclusive language. The 1970 CCD version of the NAB does not seem to have it. But then again, th e1970 version is what I was raised on, so it is most familiar to me.
Pio Nono
JMJ 3/23 - St. Turibius of Mongrovejo I somehow managed to get my hands on one of the old Knox Bibles from the 1950s (translated by your friend and mine, Msgr. Ronald Knox). It's a good translation from the old Vulgate with comparanda from the Hebrew and Greek. It's also very eloquent - I used to read the NAB and the RSV-CE, but the atrocious grammar always threw me (especially in the NAB).

Theologian in Training
RSV--CE (Ignatius) For class we are encouraged to use the NJB (New Jerusalem Bible) for the extensive notes and commentaries. Have cross-referenced with Navarre though, and do very much enjoy that one as well. God Bless
