Just outta curiousity, if someone who didn't rep pope before converts and has a become a defender of the faith now, can he/she appeal to the mods and finally join the Church Militant?

I still can't see the icons!!! :annoyed:

The trouble is the archive of past posts. They could be misleading to new members who didn't know the history.
I guess it's possible in theory, but I'd assume very difficult since you'd have to completely bury your 'non repping' posts under thousands and thousands of militant ones.

dUSt isn't gonna give back the tag of CM because all of a sudden someone decides that they're back to defending the faith. it's going to take a lot of posts and time. i know of at least one poster who got their 'i don't rep the pope' tag taken off after a year of posting 'good' stuff. and they still don't have their CM tag back.

[size=1]I dont really like those "I dont rep Pope" tags.

Its like tagging someone as "Look, they are an outsider" or something.

I think its a very negative thing.
Id ban the tags if I had the power!

We should welcome everyone to talk and whatnot even if they dont agree with us without having to stamp them.

For the benefit of new members though. They should be able to know who they can trust to accurately represent the faith.

We give special titles to doctors, professors, some politicians... married people.
At the end of the day, it's to distinguish certain traits or accomplishments for one reason or another.

I don't like the don't rep the pope tag. I used to have one and it made me feel like an 'outsider' which I know is kind of the purpose....but still...
