MagiDragon
Ayed: It may help if you view Jesus as The Word. We believe that Jesus is the Word of God. Think of it as the command of a king: if the king sends his word to you in writing, you must obey. if you obey the word, you obey the king. if on the other hand you take the letter sent by the king and burn it, you are insulting the king. Peace, may God bless you in the search for truth, and may we learn from our encounter. MagiDragon
GrapeRoad
Has anyone read C.S. Lewis' version of it? I wish I still had it with me... It was something like this: God, being before time, cannot, therefore, be affected by time. If he were to send himself into time, he would still be outside of time, and still present in all times, even while he dwelt on this Earth as man. It made sense to me. Sensical, also, was his explaination of trinity. It was like this: Now, it has been said, that God is love. Well, love always has to have a giver, and a receiver. Thus, God must have at least two persons in Him. There, we have the father, and the son. Well, love always has a product, also. That's what the holy spirit is. Now, God has always existed. Therefore, all three had existed at the very beginning of time. So, what has been defined was a Three-personed being who has alwas existed, and created this world. God. C.S. Lewis isn't Catholic, I hope neither of those were crazy heresies...
