For The Soul Of My Father

My father, Paul Robert Deutsch, passed away today at 3pm Saturday March 7, 2009. He raised me as an agnostic but when I was baptized into the Catholic Church in 1977, he attended with me and knew every prayer! I aksed him how this was so, and he said that he had attended a boys Catholic military school! I had no idea! I know he was baptized and before he died, he asked my forgiveness for not being a good father, which I gave him wholeheartedly.

I ask for your prayers for a man who may not have practised the Catholic faith, but who was a truly good person and who was sorry for his sins at the end. May his soul rest in the loving arms of Jesus and his time in purgatory be short. Please pray for his soul.
