I Need Some Good Advice

WEll,

I have called upon my phamily and phriends to ask for your advise.

I really want to go to confession, becasue I really need it really really bad.

So I was wondering, since I hate going to confession with my home parish priest, if first of all you'd recommend it, because I really need the forgivness and grace.

I'm always afraid to confess my sins to him because I feel he will think bad things of me.

Well, I was wondering if you'd suggest me calling him now, and asking him if I could go over to the church and go to confession, or should I wait til youth group tonight and see if he is home and then go to confession?

Help, I need advise. Thanks!

I don't know what to tell you, You might call him and see if he'll be home, then you could go before or after youth group

Remember your priest will not think badly of you. Priests have heard many many confessions and what you will tell him will most likely not shock or surprise him. Go to confession...you will feel so much better afterwards and wonder why you were nervous in the first place. :)

i used to feel the same way about my priest.. for a while i went to another priest from another parish for confession, but then i thought, "why am i hiding? he's one of my best friends, one that i'm supposed to be able to talk to!". ever since then i've been going back to him, and he's helped me out a lot! :D

OK I love christ! Thanks, that is what I actually do, whenever we have a visiting priest, Usually Fr. Paul I go to confession. I've always gone to him, I guess he's my friend, he is an elder priest and I just go to confession with him. Well thanks for your advice I love christ because I'm gonna see if he is there before or after youth group once I get over there tongiht.

O yeah, I just got home from my bike ride with my puppy! It was about half an hour, but that half an hour I needed alone and just me and my dog, riding my bike with him at my side, and adoring God's creation.

During the bike ride I reflected upon my life so far, and where I want to be when I'm sixteen (provided I'm 14 now)

3/21 - Laetare Sunday

Besides, any priest who thinks poorly of a person confessing should be reminded that the person confessing is confessing to Christ - the priest just happens to be there in His person. It's also good to go to the same guy over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. He can be more helpful and effective that way - it moves from spiritual triage to spiritual direction.

I asked my spiritual director if I should be as frustrated as I am about bringing the same things to confession. He said I should rather rejoice that I don't constantly invent new ways to sin. ;) Pax tecum.

Yours,
Pio Nono

I'm gonna call the priest right now and ask him if he will be available before or after youth group tonight so I can become reconciled with God.
