what a game.

He tricked me in the end.

He trapped me with the same opening TWICE. in a row. I want to save it and study how to apply and/or counter this opening.

It was just a chump from chesshere.com. Definitely an above average player.

I was leading until he mated me in that last move. Mistake on my part. I usually make one avoidable mistake per game. That's my big weakness.

Last time I made fun of my chess game I made people feel sorry for me (which was totally not my intent--I often self deprecate but that isn't often a reflection of my self-confidence). I need a lot of practice but I could see myself rounding into the kind of chess player I'd like to be.

.e3 e5
.Qh5 Nc6 (bad move by white.)
.Bb5 Bd6 (usually a bad idea to place a bishop in front of a center pawn like this as it makes it difficult to develop the other bishop and expand in the center. better is just 3...Nf6 4. Qg5 Be7 and white should not win the e-pawn with 5. Bxc6 dxc6 6. Qxe5 0-0. Black is down a pawn but he has two developed pieces and his king is castled whereas white has a queen out and that's it. I much prefer black here.

.Qg4 Nf6
.Qxg7 Rf8 (mistake by black. 5...Rg8 is better as the white queen is forced to move again and black gains control of some more squares. White looks foolish here.)
.e4 Nxe4
.d3 Nf6
.Bg5 Be7
.Bxf6 Bxf6
.Qxh7 Rh8
.Qf5 d6
.Bxc6+ bxc6
.Qe4 d5
.Qa4 Bd7
.Nf3 e4
.dxe4 Bxb2
.exd5 cxd5 (good job by black not taking the rook right away. Black can take the pawn and get the rook later. It's not going anywhere.)
.Qa5 Bxa1
.O-O c6
.Re1+ Kf8
.Qb4+ Kg8
.Na3 Bf6
.c4 Rb8
.Qd6 Rb2
.cxd5 cxd5
.Qg3+ Kf8
.Rd1 Rxa2
.Nb1 Qb6
.h3 Rb2
.Na3 Rb3
.Ra1 Be7
.Ne5 Qb7
.Qf4 Rh7 34.Qc1 Bxa3 35.Rxa3 Rxa3 36.Qxa3+ Ke8 37.Qe3 Rg7 38.Ng4+ Be6 39.Nf6+ Ke7 40.Nh5 Rh7 41.Qg5+ Kf8 42.Qd8# 1-0 Tough loss. (41...Kd6 and white is lost.)
