probably.

It's been 16 years (almost exactly. weird, eh? it was March 13, 1993 lol) I was four so I don't remember. I do remember being the first to wake up, going out to the living room, having mom pick me up to look out the window and I said "What is that white stuff?" lol. Also, the first tomato of the year was picked that day. LOL

My mom is driving 90 miles. (to Mass. then 90 Back) She's from Philly, though. so.

It's UBER windy here (even for FL) and coolish.

But...

:woot:

and why couldn't it have waited a week!?!?!!

lol

Hehe, you southern Americans and your snow.

You can have mine if you want; I'm sick of walking to the bus stop in snow and ice.
Actually it's the cold I'm less of a fan of. -30 gets tiresome

Snow is cool. :snowman:

Especially when it cancels stuff and I stay at home :).......if it doesn't get cancelled then it's only partially cool. <_<

rose wrought of iron

A couple of weeks ago (or was it more than that?) We had a lot of ice and we didn't have to go to school until 10 and all of the trees had ice on them and it looked like Christmas lights except it was daytime...

...it was sooo pretty... :cloud9:

Same thing happened it the Midwest last year. Water weighs a lot. Especially on trees as ice. Took down a lot of trees. Actually heard trees groaning and limbs cracking. After the storm, my Dad worked uber-over time as a ridiculous number of customers lost power. Wasn't pretty. His company got a lot of undeserved flak.

Ice does look nice on trees though. Talk about a REAL Winter Wonderland!!!

You guys are all spoiled. :))

I've missed one day of school in my entire life because of snow, and we were measuring the snowfall in metres. (Not feet, because we're just that cool. ;) )

I've been on three hour bus rides, (A kid had to get off to pee halfway there. I felt sorry for him.)
I've waited at a bus stop many times in weather below -30, or even -40,
I've had the little hairs inside my nose freeze solid (very common),
I've had the wind chill activate my tear glands, turning my (slightly unsually long) eyelashes into an icy mess,
I've walked to my bus stop/school on days when it would have been more efficient to skate, or snowshoe, or maybe ski,

but

I'm Canadian, and we're awesome like that. ;)

They never close anything here because of snow. It isn't because everyone drives 4 wheel drives either, mostly little toyotas or minivans. They have snow plows here the size of the thing that moves the space shuttle to the launch pad. Every lawn mower has a plow on the front. Some crazy people even ride bikes in this stuff.
