tinytherese
My chastity club, True Love Revolution will be hosting a movie night at my college and we'll be showing this one. When I send Jason Evert an email saying that the club was FINALLY approved of after such a long time of waiting and to tell him about our event night he was totally supportive of it. He said that it was the only movie that he had seen where the reality of the harmful effects of porn were presented. He also suggested showing Bella, Life is Beautiful, and The Jeweler's Shop. What's really cool about our movie night is that it'll be shown five years to the day that Jason Evert came to give a chastity talk at my high school. Just look at the results of his ministry! tinytherese
We watched it and it was AMAZING! Those who attended adored it and got really into it. Wow did they ever give props to the part where the husband fights his temptation to look at the porn and replaces the computer (which he smashed) with a bouquette of roses and a note that said "I love you more." Seriously, I haven't been touched by a movie so much in years! I'll have to write about it on my blog sometime.
sarcasmguy126
I just watched a movie called "Flywheel" in Religion class, and it was made by the same people who made Fireproof. It was NOT a professionally made movie, but it was inspiring, anyway.
XIX
I cant say anything THAT bad about the movie since it made me cry twice. I am not much of a movie critic--I rarely watch movies. However, there were some parts that seemed cheesy. The ending was also predictable. If it was low budget, then that explains a lot. There were some parts that I truly did not expect. It's still one of only two movies that has ever made me cry. You can hardly go wrong with a message like that one. To whomever said that the chief purpose of a movie is to entertain, shamey shamey shamey! Entertainment should never be our final goal or purpose in any endeavor.
