I'd love it if we could do West Side Story for our spring musical next year, but I don't think we have enough guys who can dance :sadder:

that's always the biggest problem with musicals.

:(

I'd like to see Seven Brides for Seven Brothers done as a play. But that would require a lot of guys.

i saw it up in Pittsburgh PA a few years ago for my first time.. a lot of groups have now started showing it everywhere! when the local acting group does auditions, i plan to try for one of the famous sailors... those guys are hilarious! :D

Our Community Children's Theatre is doing Sound of Music this winter...


Guess who's planning to audition for Maria??? :whistle:

I was thinking that too. That was awesome.

The only musical I have seen live was "South Pacific". I was on a Theater kick for about two months. I saw that and [i]Six Degrees of Separation[/i] in that time. It didn't take me long to start going to movies again....

Les Mis was awesome! We did it for our Senior Musical. I was a revolutionary...haha i forget his name. We used the physics class to make hydrogen ballon blasts for cannon effects....aww memories lol

Matthew played Feuilly, but I don't know any of the other revolutionaries' names. :mellow:

I can't imagine our high school being able to pull off Les Mis, though! It's a MASSIVE show!
