Birgitta Noel
OK, I can't even vote because I just simply can't decide. I LOVE them all and all the ones listed. And a ton of others that aren't even there. Anyone know "I Do! I Do!"?
prov31girl
Phantom of the Opera was the first musical I ever saw at the age of 8. I begged my parents to take me to see it, and I loved it.
valley
The Music Man is the best. A perfect story. Meredith Wilson played with Sousa too, so he learned from the best. Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is great. "Though they acted angry and annoyed, secretly they was overjoyed! Don't forget that when corralling your steer, oh them poor little dears." My Fair Lady is wonderful, no slight on Audrey, but I wish that Juile could have played Eliza in the movie. I would love to have seen her in the role. 1776 is also great. I really admired John Adams after seeing that, and I watch Boy Meets World just because William Daniels is the teacher. My daughter who is 5 will sing and dance the entire "All I do the Whole Night Through..." song from Singing in The Rain. Gene Kelly will always be to me the best dancer that Hollywood ever had. I enjoy him more than Fred Astaire. What happened to Paint Your Wagon? Clint Eastwood and Lee Marvin are not what you would call singing stars, but nobody could have pulled off Pardner and Ben nearly as well. Camelot is also a great one. Richard Burton played Authur on Broadway and he was perfect. I am sure I will think of others.
