Where Is The Holy Grail?

The last supper was held in basically a rented room, so the cup probably belonged to the owner. Had it been retained by the Apostles, I think they would have mentioned it in the Acts of the Apostles. If there had been a reason to keep its existence secret, where would they have hidden it? I don't know.

I disagree that it would have belonged to the owner of the Cenacle, that seems a bit trivial concerning the vessel Jesus Christ used at the Last Supper. I agree that if the Apostles had retained it, it probably would have been revealed in the Acts. And I do agree that it was hidden or in better words lost (according to Providence), though I dont want to post the source I agree with until we get more posts here.

I've always wondered why the grail was so important as opposed to all the other things Jesus would have used, even at the last supper.

Because that was the vessel He used to institute the Holy Eucharist. That is the vessel He used to consecrate His precious Blood once for all.

But not the plate?

I'm not trying to be obstinate by the way.

Unless he just held the bread I guess.

I'm curious to know why you think it is at Petra, I've never heard of that theory.

I'm not sure about the plate. I guess the plate is less as significant as the cup since one can hold bread in one's own hand without a plate, yet a cup is necessary to hold wine.

It is in Valencia, Spain.

Pope John Paul II venerated it when he visited Valencia, there is a beautiful photo of the Pope kissing the Holy Grial http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_jAr-z0nLqt8/SSxY.../s400/pope4.jpg.

The idea that the Grail is in Valencia is based on a story that the martyr-deacon Saint Lawrence was in charge of it and sent it to Spain because of the persecution of Valerian. I dont think that chalice venerated in the Cathedral of Valencia is the true Grail. I am not going to focus on negating this idea, I will try and focus on building up the idea that it is indeed is lost and buried somewhere in Jerusalem.

I got it.

Oh wait............it says on the bottom it's made in China. Does that negate the claim?
