The original description for the "don't rep the Church" category included not only Catholics, who I suppose could be described as "not in good standing," but non-Catholics.

You're fine. There are other protestants on the board who haven't been nailed with the "I don't rep the pope". It's mainly because they spend most of their time on the lame board, and don't go around being avidly protestant (if that makes sense).
