Has anyone heard of this website? It is run by a Catholic theologian who has predicted the future of the world and Church based on the Bible.

There is also this page where he references a list made by an Irish Saint, talking about the future Popes.

I just wondered what you all thought. I myself won't take it seriously. The biggest problem I have with it is that he says that all Christians will be united under one Church BEFORE the Second Coming, which I understand to be against Catholic theology?

Well, considering he says that JPII will die in 2003, and it's already 2004, he's either very innaccurate or has a really bad watch.

I have been on several lists with him and he is NOT a catholic theologian. He just wants to be. :)

The prophecies of St Malachy are interesting, but not considered authentic.
These are not your typical so-vague-they-can't-be-wrong predictions of the future. A time frame is given for many of the predicted events, and the events described are unusual and unexpected.
That link is surely not faithful to Catholic teaching on the end times. The Millennium refers to Jesus' spiritual reign in the Church, according to the Church, and it started when Christ conquered death through His death and resurrection. And a third coming? What b.s.!

Yep.
I watched this guy do an internet debate on this stuff and lose.
If you want Catholic teaching watch EWTN's new series Time and Eternity on tonight at 10:30PM est.

What his prediction will look like in about 5 years:

My understanding is that Pope Benedict XVI, the Pope of Peace, will be elected sometime during 2003. [Note added Dec. 31, 2003: I was mistaken about the year 2003. It must be 2004.] [Note added Dec. 31, 2004: I was mistaken about the year 2004. It must be 2005.] [Note added Dec. 31, 2005: I was mistaken about the year 2005. • 4 years later...

Well, I predict that in four years from now, in 2008, a black president will be elected.

I know its a long shot but I'm taking bets if anyone is interested.
