Because it contains errors, why pass along mistakes? Burn it.
I could be wrong, but I was always under the impression that one need only resort to burning or burying if the object was blessed (that is, was a sacramental). Otherwise, into the can it may go.
I would say that generally that is the case. The Bible is the Word of God and should be treated with respect blessed or not.
Why don't you keep it. Micah and I have a few none Catholic Bibles around the house for exegetical purposes.
Cause I have a low tolerance for heresy and stupidity and my partner isn't a very good catholic so am trying not to have such things around.

The second part is definitely reason enough. As for low tolerance for heresy, I agree, but sometimes it is necessary to have certain heretical things around in order to show their errors, ie the Dutch Catechism  I point this out merely because we have some members here who are scrupulous and may take the "I have a low tolerance for heresy and stupidity" to mean that they can't have a KJV or some other heretical document/book hanging around for learning purposes.

Micah and I currently have a book shelf in our pseudo-library that we call "our heretical section"

But definitely if that Bible could be a stumbling block for your partner it is best to get rid of it.

I don't have a heresy section in my library but I do have an occult one. I do agree with the "using heresy as learning" bit though but it's just easier for me to combat heretics with online resources. I just can't stand the fact that there are people who think that they're right using such erroneous literature, it's mucho worse that it is lying about in my house.

Catechism of Pope St. Pius X:
32 Q: What should a Christian do who has been given a Bible by a Protestant or by an agent of the Protestants?

A: A Christian to whom a Bible has been offered by a Protestant or an agent of the Protestants should reject it with disgust, because it is forbidden by the Church. If it was accepted by inadvertence, it must be burnt as soon as possible or handed in to the Parish Priest.
