benedict_x
My partner was given a bible by his heretic older sister years ago. It's the standard stolen/vandalized (read: protestant) kind and I want to get rid of it but do not know how to it properly. So how do I do it? While we're on that topic how do I dispose of sacramentals and pictures (i.e previous year's Saints Calendar) respectfully? Thanks!

Fireplace in your home would be best if possible IMO.
Ziggamafu
I could be wrong, but I was always under the impression that one need only resort to burning or burying if the object was blessed (that is, was a sacramental). Otherwise, into the can it may go.
