let_go_let_God
I'm going to prom, twice actually. I'm going to my prom with one of my best guy friends, and I'm going to the other prom as my other best guy friends date. I am really excited. I haven't asked anybody yet, but i think i'm gonna go, reguardless of whether or not i have the company of a young lady.

FX2
its $50 bucks a couple at my school. With that, a tux, dinner for too, man it costs alot of bling ya know? Id rather save $50 bucks and have a better chance of staying a good boy then go to prom.

Iacobus
I couldn't afford $50 dance. And even if I could I don't think I would pay that. Whenever I think about something like that I have a flashback to last May when I was serving at the Homeless shelter and a man was coming up for his food. He asked if he could have roll thing for desert (which were just about to be used up) instead of the cup cake, which is what he was going to get otherwise. When the person next to me (the one pushing the trays over the the people) pushed this gentlemen's tray over I caught I glimsple at him. Just getting that roll made his day 100 times better. He felt good and was happy. The half toothless simle I was on his face was one of pure joy over getting a roll and not a cup cake. When was the last time I was made happy for a day because they had my favorite lunch at school? It doesn't make my day. I have taken it for granted. This man understood the value of having food and the pure blessing of having food you enjoy. After see that man, and the countless other men, women, and children flock over to the sevreing line for food and nothing else, After seeing the homeless camp over the by the train brigde, After seeing a man strap all of his belongings onto his back in one normal sized army issue backpack, I cannot bring myself to really enjoy these niceaties. ilovechrist
No prom for me (homeschooled).
HEY! i'm going to prom, and i'm homeschooled! 1- u can actually go with someone to a public school (as long as date goes there, and date can get u special attendance slip), or 2-talk to the nearest homeschool group, which usually has a teen group that holds their own dances. don't worry, be happy! -ben

I'm still waiting for a certain "Prince Charming" to wake up and ask me. But.. just in case.. one of my guy friends and I agreed to be each other's 'fall back dates' just in case our prospective dates fall through
prov31girl
The age of proms have already passed for me. I'm a prom has-been. But, if any gentlemen in the Ohio/Indiana region want to impress all their peeps with an older woman (I'm only 19 for another week), let me know. For those of you who are attending prom, HAVE FUN!!!!
