I am too old. There is touch a truck day hosted by the park district. I try to take my brothers so as not to look as creepy. I had to work the last couple of times. My thought though is to do a paramedic program so on off days I can work for a house. I am still waiting on the Army though and then I will decide on what to do. There was one parade that I went to in West Chicago. They had so many firetrucks. It was awesome. Our own July 4 parade is packed with fire trucks. Winchester
It's no fun if you don't get outraged... There's a Detroit firefighter on phatmass, now. Those guys really make fires. Lots of people come out of the military and join fire departments.

Sorry for my stupidity. I need something to satisfy my truama thirst. Med/Surg/Oncology/Detox is just not cutting it. And everyone things I am wierd when I get excited after they call a trauma in the ER. Yeah I was talking to him. Here are a couple more pics that I found. I think one day I am going to stake out at the fire dept at my house to catch it. Everytime I don't have my camera, somehing exciting happens. I want real life ones... My biggest missed picture opportunity was when I was driving home one night and a fire engine went screaming down the street lights flashing. There was a flag on the back of the truck waving in the wind. It was absolutely beautiful. It would have been beautiful to capture. I learned my lesson sort of that night. Always bring my camera. Plus just one ride will not cover it. I have to be in the action! There was an old firetruck for sale some years back down the street. My dad said that I should buy that instead of a car and drive it around. However, I opted not to considering I had no money at the time for school and a car.
