It's really an incredible, realistic movie about life in a slum in India. The poverty is something of what Mother Teresa saw every day. There is alot in this movie that is hauntingly disturbing and sad. But the main character's innocence and sincerity really shines throughout the movie. His experiences relate to the questions on 'who wants to be a millionaire'.

I just saw this yesterday. Good movie. The plot was good. I like how story of his life is intertwined with what is going on. It is very well made. The lighting, the scenes were just excellent.

I like modern Indian music too.

I saw it basically wanting it to smell of elderberries, given all the hoopla surrounding it during the Oscars...

....but it was pretty good. Not the best movie I've seen this year, but still pretty good.

DemonSlayer

I thought that Gran Torino was slightly better, but for some reason it wasn't given any Oscar nominations.
