Beautiful! What material did you use?
A type of linen look fabric that is much easier to care for. I prefer to use materials that are machine washable. I was a sacrastin long enough to see some truly nasty vestments that had never been washed because they were expensive silk. My stuff is designed for hard use, ease of use, and long use. The seams on my clerical shirts will outlive the fabric.

Reading, building awesome Lego creations, and trawling the Internet are my main hobbies. Everything else is either forced or I don't do it enough to qualify as a hobby even though I like it.

That's kind of a family-time hobby. I usually don't play it in my spare time.

Languages - yes, including Japanese :) although Turkish is in there too. Most of my days are spent in a vague bilingual haze anyway, but it's good to get into something other than English and Dutch.

Cooking - www.thepioneerwoman.com is my favourite site for recipes. I think Mrs. Drummond's just hilarious :)

Reading - 'nuff said. I'm reading Mother Teresa's "Come, be my light" at the moment. Only in Dutch, because that's the translation that was given to me :lol_roll: gotta take what you get, right?

Travelling - 2008 was a busy year, that I remember. And in February I'm going to Switzerland for the first time!

Does "randomly flipping through a Graduale Triplex and lectio'ing the introits of my favourite feasts" count as a hobby?
