I've Orthodoxy pulled up on Project Gutenburg. I dont see any chapter titled fairytales. I dont have time right now to read the entire book, so which one were you recommending?

I. Introduction in Defence of Everything Else
II. The Maniac
III. The Suicide of Thought
IV. The Ethics of Elfland
V. The Flag of the World
VI. The Paradoxes of Christianity
VII. The Eternal Revolution
VIII. The Romance of Orthodoxy
IX. Authority and the Adventurer

and I'll say it again! I'm not French [Canadien], I'm Canadian... there's a difference... you know... upper Canada (though we're more south on the map...)

Just finished. Excellent. I thought he was a bit rough on the scientists, for some of them I am thinking of the ones who delve into the theoretical branch and not the applied branch have incredibly magical minds. They in a sense imagine something and then attempt to prove it. How romantic and magical would that be?

I thoroughly enjoyed how he was ruthless with the philosophers he mentions and with modern thought in general.

He uses a lot of irony, paradox and sarcasm, but in a joyful, invigorating type way. It would be fascinating to meet him.
