I like how they found someone at the agency sponsoring the ad to act all shocked and "I don't know what his problem is..." when the whole point of the buses was as a reaction to Christian ads that bothered/annoyed atheists.

I was kind of surprised that the Methodists didn't have a problem with the whole thing. Are they willing to bend over even to atheists in order to be open and accepting of everyone.

No, I think it was more of a 'Bring it on - this ad will make people think about God, which is what we want them to do.' The more you raise questions (especially with that 'probably' in there) the more they see room for evangelization opportunities, conversations at the water cooler, etc.

They knew the atheist group was doing it to be all in your face, 'Take that,' so they decided to not get mad or react to spite them ;).

Sure. Just like they don't have to say "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance.

I'd actually prefer to drive a bus with that on the side of it. What an easy way to get people into a conversation about the one true faith?

How about put an atheist sign right beside a Christian sign. :topsy:

That would be funny.

"Praise the Lord, Jesus Saves!"

"Jesus probably doesn't save, so stop worrying and enjoy life"

If that doesn't start discussion, then absolutely nothing will.
