To say the least it scares me, but yeah there's a lot to think about with it. Scary and yet really cool. To each there own I guess.

it is pretty cool, actually. just unexpected. if you don't think about it the way they did, then it's creepy. but from there point of view, it is pretty cool.

But i don't think i'd ever erm ... make a statement in that sort of fashion. ;)

This is from a site that talks about modern churches. Our Blessed Mother on a Propeller?!

(likeks is a secular, somewhat irreverent site in other areas, just to warn you, but they do have stuff that is so funny my sides hurt from laughing at the "Gallery of Regrettable Food")

Oh, wow... I am looking at the pic of Santa Maria della Concezione

I would love to visit this. This really places "The Four Last Things" in your face.

Are those real arms crossed up on that wall? Holy carp.

I saw the bones in Italy, on my honeymoon. It was so romantic. LOL.

Just kidding... about it being romantic.

But actually, I wasn't all weirded out. I was pretty peaceful. I think they had to hid the bones of the monks or something because Catholics were being persecuted... Maybe someone knows the story of that chaple.
