Lil Red
Here's the link for a portion of the article.I was reading my diocesan newspaper and on the back page they had this article. Look for the headline: British archbishop criticizes new research using aborted fetuses. The part that really got me, though wasn't even in that partial article. It was in the full article of the newspaper. "One researcher acknowledged that the concept of taking egg follicles from an aborted baby was controversial. "I'm fully aware of the controversy about this - but probably, in some place, it will be ethically acceptable," she told the BBC." "The Human Fertilization and Embryology Authority, which regulates in vitro fertilization in Britain, said that it would never allow the procedure, a spokesman told the BBC." "The use of fetal ovarian tissue raises difficult social, medical, scientific, and legal questions. After a public consultation, we decided that it would be difficult for any child to come to terms with being created using aborted fetal material because of prevailing social attitudes. We do not consider the use of tissue from this source to be acceptable for fertility treatment", the spokesman said. Hello people! It would be difficult for a child to come to terms? How about impossible? "Yes, my child, you were created from a baby that someone decided shouldn't live and killed." Why don't these people wake UP? On a second note, every Catholic parish in the nation has been matched up to the nation's remaining 700+ freestanding abortion mills. Each parish is asked to pray and work for the conversion and closing of a specific killing center. So find out which one your parish adopted!! Lil Red
Jake, please do. You can ask your parish which one you've adopted. There's only (I think) one in our diocese, so we have the whole diocese praying for it!!! amesome, huh? :)
