DannyBoy
Fellow Catholics: I just wanted to take a moment and say that I think its crappy and cowardly (no other words to describe it) that Dust and the other administrators saw fit to tag me as not "repping" the pope on account of sentiments that I shared on this site regarding the now past presidential election. I pray for all those who had something to do with my ousting from God's Grandeur on account of the fact that I outwordly promoted the candidacy of Barack Obama. As a Catholic who has devoted his life to living the faith and who has discerned priesthood, only to be judged by sentiments that I expressed about the leader of a nation with a separation of church and state I find it discriminatory and harsh not to mention extremely judgemental of the powers that be on this site to deem me non-Catholic. I now have a small glimmer of the reason why many Catholics fall away in the American Church. No one likes to be discriminated against. But yet, Christ too was scorned. God bless you all! Peace to your souls as you continue to judge the "phat'masses. Extremely disappointed and angry, DannyBoy
missionseeker
Mod criticism should be done in private. And ... people walked away from Christ's truth all the time. He did not say "Oh wait, you heard me wrong" He repeated what He said. And they walked away anyway. He let them go.

Typical relativist bs. The supposed "discrimination you speak of, is actually charity. Edited December 9, 2008 by daytondog

If only you'd submitted your reasoning, thoughts, and opinions to Christ and His Church, you wouldn't have been branded with an "I Don't Rep The Pope" sign. But no, you chose to do your own thing. That was the sin of Adam and Eve, by the way -- in choosing to eat the forbidden fruit, they thought THEY knew better.
CatherineM
Do you understand what the concept of "being in communion with" means? Our bishops and our pontiff have made it clear that you can not vote for a candidate that makes the death of children one of his main selling points. You can certainly chose a path that is at odds with church teachings, but that choice puts you out of communion with the church. Just that simple. dUSt
The tag I gave you is not an excommunication from the church dude. It's just me saying that I don't want your personal theology to be published by phatmass as representation of what the church teaches. Phatmass is a form of media, just like a newspaper or television channel, and I am morally responsible for implementing a system that controls what is published on this site, according to my own conscience, as formed by the church. Sorry.
