Nope, but out of the 87 credits I had, the University of Minnesota only transferred ~40 or so. I was so angry. Hope school #4 will be better! :D I now have 106 credits...oh dear. I need to stick with a school and get 'er done!!!
Yep. :)

i have had my fair share of arguments with my school based on credits and housing and now this fire deal and it smells of elderberries. but i do love school especially because i do a beverage concentration which means i get to taste over 200 wines and spirits. whoot whoot culinary school is so fun!
Are there no Cali kids in this forum?

I'm a third-year screenwriting and theology double major at LMU in Los Angeles....

i have quite a few friends here at BAC that transferred from Cali, be it from TAC or after earning a 2-year degree at a smaller school--but i'm not sure if any of them tend to be online posters or not.
I suppose I count as a college student, though I'm still used to thinking of myself as homeschooled. I've just started classes at the local community college through the Running Start program. After getting an AA in two years, it will hopefully be off to a solid Catholic college for me. To blazes with out-of-state tuition rates! People tell me I'll get good financial aid since I'm the oldest of 6.5 siblings. Right now I'm leaning toward Franciscan or Ave Maria, but there is also a good Newman Center or two in-state. Or so I hear.
i hate to break it to you bro, but financial aid is hard to find these days. i was homeschooled grades 1-12 and am the oldest of 7 kids. my parents went to Franciscan, and i had my heart set on going there. God ended up directing me elsewhere for a variety of reasons, but primarily because the school has VERY little to offer in terms of financial aid. my friends have all experienced similar heartbreak with Benedictine, Christendom and Ave Maria--so unless you want to incur over 100K in debt to try and pay off later with our unstable economy, i would start working/saving now or really expand the ideas as to what you're searching for. if you're looking for decent aid, check out Belmont Abbey College in NC/Southern Catholic in GA/Wyoming Catholic. from what i understand (i can only attest from my wonderful blessings experienced at Belmont Abbey), all have wonderful financial packages and the spiritual development/education to back them up :)) i'll be praying that your search goes well!
GO FRANCISCAN! That's my opinion, but I know Ave is a good choice also. If you have any questions about FUS, let me know.
I got a lot of calls from Ave

It got absurd after a while, I never sent in an application....but they kept calling

And sending their news letter

They finially stoped though.

Sometimes I miss them :sadder:

but not really :smokey:
I'm a first semester freshman with sophomore standing at a stinkin awesome Catholic University.

I give Naz permission to hate.
That was always so confusing for me. Like when people/forms asked if you were a Freshmen. It was like "Are they asking if I'm of Freshmen standing or if I'm a first year student?"

:annoyed:

Very trying times.

They did that to me too, for a while after I applied, even though I didn't end up going either. I think they stopped after like a year though, or at least I haven't seen anything from them in a really long time.
