wow some people are really are slow! Though being the third of 8 children+2 angels it has been my family's experience that when people make those retarded comments they are [b]Jealous[/b] with a capital [b]J[/b] of you honey! Most of the time they want a another baby but they may be scared,their husband threatens to divorce them if they have another child,pressure at work* I could go and on. And besides society has this "doctrine" about only having two children (I am not dissing smaller families you get what God gives you and God may only bless you with one or two).

My dad would always get lashed out for having a large family at work then one day he looked the co-workers straight in the eye and said "this is harassment and I will take no more of it" . The comments stopped.

When My mom was pregnant with me she was asked by some crazy person why she wanted to ruin her perfect family (there were a boy and a girl). Personally I think I perfected the family

*When I was playing Volleyball my Mom just had a baby and one of my team players mom wanted another baby though she lamented to my Mom how the people at work dissed her so she couldn't. My Mom then informed her that that was harassment. The following year the lady had a newborn.

Anyway yes people are jerks and will always try to boink you down. They are just so jealous that you are so strong and is willing to go against the "norm" and be open to life.
Hang in there you can do it. Remember the Father in Heaven sees all!

Prayers for you and your baby.You are so lucky I can't help but feel a little jealous I am praying that God may bless my family again with another baby though we ll see.

Adding to the GRRR theme of the thread, when I was 7 or 8 months pregnant I was at a welcome reception for the new post-grads in the department. I was talking to a couple of guys, one of whom was an office mate. The other one was asking me how the pregnancy was going, being generally nice about things, when my office mate said he would never have children because then you couldn't do what you wanted. The other guy quickly changed the topic before I could go off. Which is a good thing for the office mate, because I was livid!

Part of me wants twins someday, but I have no idea how I'd do it! I've been telling Bart we need to have another soon, though, because Kieran is really jealous if I hold another baby.

Charlotte gets really jealous, too... it's been a long time since I held another baby but she gets pushy with her sisters. If Adrienne or Genevieve crawls into bed with me, or up in a chair she will come and either push her sister away or squeeze herself in between us. Well, she tries to at any rate, I don't let her get away with it. I'm not going to have her be a total brute, she's already bossy enough as it is. Sometimes I wonder if the only way to cure that is to have another kid.

Yeah, I didn't really let Kieran get away with it, either. But once I did hand over the baby to her mum, he crawled up in my lap and suddenly wanted to nurse.
