I look at postpartum pictures and I think "Good gravy, look at those chins!" When I had Adrienne I got a stretch mark on my calf. Like... seriously? Who gets stretch marks on their calves? prose
Last night my hubby told he he was grateful that I was pregnant because if I was just gaining as much weight as I am, he would be freaking out. Believe it or not (and this should make you feel better) I have gained 18lbs in this month alone!!! I only took a preggo test because I had put on almost 15 lbs in 2 weeks. I keep going like this, and my body is going to pop!!! Edited November 26, 2008 by prose
Lounge Daddy
I have so many people tell me "when are you going to get 'that thing' fixed?" or "you know what causes that, don't you?" and of course there is the "what are you---catholic?" comment. *sigh* And it's one of those things where the heavily clichéd line is delivered as if that's the first time I ever heard it said to me. But, or course, it's the billionth time I heard it.
Lounge Daddy
I have so many people tell me "when are you going to get 'that thing' fixed?" ...
I should probably add that I would comment to the repeated use of that line about how "that thing" doesn't need fixing if my wife is pregnant, but I wouldn't want to participate in the over-use of that rather lame and tired comment. prose
Interesting you should say that. People have been asking when I tell them "So, are you getting fixed after this?" Strange question to ask a newly pregnant woman.
