Saint Therese
I once had a very nasty response because I was overweight. Just don't let it keep you down.
Thomist-in-Training
I have to admit I sort of agree that discerners shouldn't abandon our country.
Yeah, I was being sort of flippant, since I have been discerning seriously with a foreign community for the past few months, nothing to do with the elections but it's like an "added bonus". Nota bene.
Saint Therese
I think a discerner should go whevever God calls them. After all, the Church is universal, and our God is God of not only the US. And its not only the US that needs workers in the vineyard. Just sayin'.
VeniteAdoremus
I admit that I don't like the idea of leaving my country, because religious are so needed here. But we'll see how it goes - maybe four other Dutch girls will enter and we can make a foundation! I do wonder why some communities set age limits, etc. But I think that number-wise, most people enter abroad for other reasons. God calls, we answer. It's very simple, in a difficult way
