Awwwww the poor little kiddies didn't get candy from a lady on Halloween, the poor boobies...

Did you really think we would care, fidei?
Someone is a little cranky. Didn't get any candy either, eh?

Well, it's a great way to save your candy...

Re "Joe" the "Plumber", anyone to goes public about anything is going to get his cred examined. He's not licensed, hasn't had an apprenticeship, isn't a member of the union, but he's speaking as a 'plumber'---he sez. REAL trained, licensed, card-carrying plumbers SHOULD resent this, the way "Joe" is being used as a joe six-pack figure when he's really a scab.

McCain's campaign didn't research "Joe" the "Plumber" the way they didn't research their campaign worker 'attacked' by a 'black man'--they will grab onto anything to make a case for ---what? A desperate campaign.

What exactly does this thread have to do with Joe the Plumber? Why is his name in quotations? Why couldn't you have posted this in a relevant thread? :drunk:

I have withheld candy from kids who do not say "trick or treat." They just stand there, open their bags, and expect candy to drop in. I guess I am cruel like that.

Joe the Plumber is a private citizen who simply asked a question. He was thrown into the public scene but he is not a public official or celebrity. The wolves began investigating him the day he appeared in TV clips where he asked the Dear One about his wealth redistribution plan. Government computers were illegally allocated to research his background. But, hey, abuse of government resources to investigate citizens asking candidate questions is okay these days. Does the left forget how much they had a cow about the Patriot Act and FISA? Now privacy is no longer an issue.

Joe is a plumber. If you have a drained clogged, need toilet installed, water heater installed, etc., he can do it. What do you think he does during the day? Cooks pancakes? He works under his licensed employer. That's perfect legally in OH.

The McCain campaign grabbed onto the white girl's story as much as Obama's campaign, at an arm's length away. Both campaigns issued statements on the incidents. Obama did not endorse the attack when believed to be true. McCain did not endorse fraudulent criminal claims when it was discovered the claim was false. The entire incident was a blip on the screen and not the giant scandal you imagine it to be.

I figure if they're close to my height... they have to work for it.

I actually asked a group of middle school kids... remember what you used to say when you were kids?

That was funny.

Me too. I was going to go as a poor college student, but I decided otherwise.

Actually fidei, I got plenty of candy from my clinic. They put it out for the patients, but all us front desk people ate it.

In all seriousness though, you started a thread expecting us to care what a woman does with her privately owned candy. Really, fidei, you thought we would care?

A dental clinic handing out candy? Isn't that a conflict of interest?
