KnewInTheTrinity
Have you seen the awkward turtle and palm tree hand motions? It's my LIFEEE. Today, at practice, I waved awkwardly and got made fun of... : ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/olgao/113896855/
HolyPhoenix
I don't know. They just come and surround me. I guess because I don't hang out with bad friends.
tinytherese
Lol I was in a conversation with some girls at school and one of them mentioned how she really wanted to meet this one girl's sister who from what she was old was interesting. She didn't know how to approach her when they were about to meet and was joking around with us saying that she'd go up to her and say, "Hi, I'm Alicia and I'm socially awkward." I wouldn't recommend doing that though.
mcts
i have started sitting in the lounge at school and i'm meeting tons of new people. I sit in the booth closest to the power outlet and people who need to plug in a computer always sit there and so we chat. it's fun.
Arpy
I prefer quality over quantity, so my circle of close friends is quite small now that some have left for other states. However, that doesn’t mean I’m not friendly with others, and I’m getting to know some of the solid Christians at my puny community college through the campus’s Christian club too. Wearing strange and awesome t-shirts helps. So yeah, pretty content with friendships right now. ^.^
HolyPhoenix
oooh socially awkward sounds pretty homeschoolish. I could use that.
Arpy
Ha, speaking of homeschooling: If public-schooling means the teacher has to drag the answers out of you because you have problems with speaking up, then that's another reason I'm glad I was homeschooled. And as far as introductions go, "Hi, would you like some propaganda?" is a great way to run a pro-life fair booth.

Jesus_lol
I was one of the smartest people in class and my peers always needed help
so why did you think you wouldnt be able to get into college? yeah i was a pretty reserved kid in 7-11th grade(not so much in elementary!) and as a result i only had one or two good friends(one of which is still my best friend), and a group of friends that i never really liked and do my best to avoid now. in 12th grade and much more so during my travels and in college, i lost the whole reserved, antisocial aspect. now i think of myself as being really outgoing, quick to start dancing or singing cause i am not so concerned about outside criticism, and very friendly. i tend to go really far out of my way for friends and potential friends, and these days i make lots of friends very quickly. I did'nt really meat anybody till I met a girl who I like and she wants my help to help her become Roman Catholic. So pray and look and you will find.
