jckinsman
"Knowing" something doesn't make it true. Providing reasonable evidence, however, does. If what you believe is "true," then you should have no problems providing logical evidence for it. God gave us reason, so why don't you use it?
Sometimes "knowing" something does make it true, because we've studied it, so we "know" that if it did not come from a liberally tainted news,we know it and it is true. Now logically, evidence can be used against you to support your own illogical terms. God actually gave us free will to study and reason for ourselves in the things that we find relevant to our individual lives. A good mix of common sense and rational reasoning to what people read and study, applied to there own individual experiances is a pretty good indicator of what the outcome of any given topic may be. So if you want to use reason based on God then you'd better cordinate your brain cells in compliance with his will and not your own.

The non-scientific survey gathered 4,300 respondents -- all of them registered and eligible to vote." You can conclude two things from this - it was not an accurate sample in that only subscribers of a magazine were included, and it was voluntary even from there. And two, that it was non-scientific, it was not intended to synthesize actual conclusions from the results.
Are these conclusions your opinions or some one elses?......are they factual ?and if they are I would like a source!?? And why you think that source is realiable?.... and two paragraphs on the reasoning behind it. I would also like to know how it fits in to the accordance of God's reasoning on Human nature coupled with an essay on "what the military really thinks of McCain" Complete with graphs and charts one on each branch. The democratic ticket always looks to fund their programs by pulling $ from the military. So what is the common sense here?? Hummmmm????

I'm questioning the validity of the survey. If you want to go around claiming you just "know" that something is true but provide no credible evidence, then the only person who is obligated to believe you is yourself. Justin86
You know, I never got why you're so up in arms about the survey being "volunatary". When has any poll been mandatory? If you had stuck with the poll is unscientific argument I might get your side more, but voluntary? You're full it.

Critical thinking is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Critical_thinking I think that you'd better bone up on that one! No where in any phrases that I have ever said "dirty and repulsive"(except right here, and my husbands socks) as a matter of fact ,I do not even think that of you! I am not claiming things that I have not already read or seen or heard. Just as you do with all of the info you come across. "Credible" falls to ones own opinions if we are talking news worthy issues in this political arena. I lean far right,I listen to far right, I get my info there. I don't like my history books re-written. I watch liberal shows rarely and only to keep my brain wrapped around the "hollywood"side. We all need to be educated in what the other is doing. I just disagree with that political and social agenda. I assume, you,do the same. Meaning I could sit here and write a ten page report on the topic with a bibliography and charts but do I really care enough to waste my time to do so,... when you really do not care, you just like the argument! I do not NEED you to take me seriously,if you knew me,you'd laugh at how sensitive you are being right now. We call that an opinion and I have every right to disagree with it.
