Wow. That IS awesome... how many priests does your parish have?

Mine has two priests, we have confession from 4:30-5:10ish every day, mass is at 5:15. There's also confession from 3-4 (I think) on Saturdays, and on Sundays usually after the evening Masses.

At school... Confession is offered for 45 mins on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Or by appointment. Or simply asking one of our priests to hear you confession.

My home parish... well, it used to be for an hour on Wednesdays and then two 45min slots on Saturdays. Now it's just the two on Saturdays, I believe.

But back home, I work on most Saturdays. And ALL of the parishes have the same confession times. And I would feel awkward scheduling an appointment for confession, since I like to go about every two weeks. And our new pastor is not very big on hearing confessions outside of the scheduled times....

My parish has been blessed with a priest who changed the schedule to half an hour before each and every Mass, plus an extra hour or so on Saturday. I think it's really helped; the lines at weekend Masses can be up to ten people long.

Every Saturday before Mass and every Wednesday at 12 noon during Advent. However, during Lent, the bishop has asked all parishes to offer it on Monday night so that no matter where you go within the diocese, confessions will be available

I like how my parish offers Confession Wed. nights and Saturday afternoons. Another parish right near my house offers Confession 3-4 then 5-530. Saturday night.
