OH, my!! that was the worst...

1. Lots of blue-eyed, people in Jerusalem... with British accents!!

2. Did the writers even crack open one of the Gospels? The dialog was terrible. And not even close to Biblical.

3. No reserection? I know it's about Judas, but c'mon...

4. I couldn't fall in love what that Jesus.... He was horrible....

And I only watched about twenty minutes...

Now I want to go to TPOTC again just to clense my visual palet...

Seeing The Passion again tomorrow with my family and a few friends. Perhaps I was "corrupted" by a great film and therefore couldn't appreciate the garbage that they peddled tonight. :)

i watched it for about 20 min, the brittish accents and the blond haired, blue eyed, arian master race people didnt set the mood for me. besides i think the Passion ruined Jesus movies for me. but thats ok :)

I think we are going to see a lot more of this kind of movie.

Remember in the Passion where te devil apes Mary carrying baby Jesus - mocking her?

Think of a bunch of history channel type - Jesus seminar type carp....

I can see Hollywood and the liberals types producing their own films to undercut the goodness of Mel Gibson's Passion.

Well, in that case, I'm not as sorry that I missed it now... Yeah, what cmotherofpirl said.. there will probably be a sort of liberal-backlash of Jesus flicks...be on the lookout! :)
Also, Jesus looks too much like a fun-loving hippy than the Savior of the world ;)
Yeah, the film made Him look like someone off the cover of one of those romance novels you see in the checkout line.

Personally, I see nothing wrong about seeing the human side of Jesus; in fact, one of my favorite parts of "The Passion" was the flashback scene where He was making the table. But it has to be put into perspective: the humanity serves to prove that He indeed suffer pain. There is a verse in Hebrews that refers to His ability to intercede for us based on His having been through what we've been through.
