Laudate_Dominum
Hello everyone, Today, I almost got suspended, this teach has been looking at me strange ever since I wore my crucifix, miraculous medal, and padre pio medal to school. One day he said, "Take that thing off" I refused. And secondly when our church held the Ecumenical service for Thanksgiving that teacher was there, so he's not catholic but a Christian. Finally today, I was called down to the office, so I went down there! Upon my arrival, I was told to take my necklace off. I said, "No, Why should I?" Then the lady replied, "Don't take that tone with me son..." I then replied, "Ok" She said again, hand me that necklace, I once again said no. I then while she was talking said this < "O Mary conceived without sin pray for me, who has recourse to thee, as I pray for _______ as she is an enemy of the church." She continued on and said, "If you don't take that necklace off, I will have to suspend you." I then continued on and said, "With today's controversy about Faith in public places, isn't it funny, how a movie, a Faith Filled movie is number one at the box office for the second week. And look that is in the public place. Now according to many's interpretation of the first ammendment, I have the right to wear my crucifix, because of my Freedoms. That is why I'm refusing to take it off." She respnded "Why do you want to do this to yourself" I replied, " For the Greater Honor and Glory of God. And you know, there have been successful cases within court where people have stood up for their faith and have won, and I'm not afraid to pursue this matter more." I was then dismissed to go back to class. It then so happened tonight, when I went out to eat with me, myself, and I, at a restaurant it turns out she walks in 5 minutes after I did! I was wearing my crucifix, and she looked at me, saw that, and continued walking. On my way out, I said, Have a good night to her. I hope that touched her heart, and to know that I still love her, since she is a child of God.
whoa! I see kids wearing all kinds of twisting junk around their necks. Voodoo crystals, pentagrams, etc.. This teacher was flipped out because you want to represent a little Roman Catholicism? Blessed are you when they persecute you bro. Don't let them push you around. They already banned them (and yalmakas) in France.

Ash Wednesday
Rev, I seriously think they're in the wrong for taking your crucifix away. Can you imagine if a Jewish kid wearing a Star of David was told to take it off? People would mushy mud pie bricks. You shold contact the Catholic League, and take legal action. That is discrimination and a violation of your rights.
