NLUVWITJC
Hi all- As part of my lenten practice this year, I have made a committment to say the rosary every day since I was becoming very lax in doing so (and after seeing the passion-well it is definetly a must for me) Every since Ash Wednesday I have prayed the rosary everyday in the evening before going to bed. I was wondering if it is appropiate to recite in the evening or if a more suitable time is in the morning before work/school. What is the most suitable time to recite the rosary if any? Thank you. Pontifex
Truly I have never found a "better" time to pray for the rosary. I have never heard of a proper time to pray it, so I guess the main thing is that you pray it when you are most alert. This way you can enter into the depth of each mystery and thereby draw closer to Jesus, through Mary. Peace to you. Fr. Pontifex
Carson Weber
I second Father. The best time I have found to pray the Rosary - for myself - is right after I get ready in the morning and visit the adoration chapel for prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. If I do not visit the chapel, then I will pray the Rosary sometime in the middle of the day when I am alert and need to clear my mind and focus on Jesus. If I wait until the evening, I'll usually not pray it due to tiredness.
