hopeful1
sounds cool! I'd vote for it. I wish i could see it because even tho i'm not married ( nor see it in the future for a few more years since this is just my first year in college) i'd like to learn more about it. but keeping it private or passworded is probably for the best. I'm all for a thread.
Birgitta Noel
Palm application?! PALM APPLICATION!!!!! Where do I get it???? To avoid too many public details let's just say that being as conservative as we are isn't going to fly for much longer. A palm app would make charting a lot simpler! IcePrincessKRS
The same website has other software you can buy for your computer and a web-based fertility tracker. (They're even rated as good, bad, not so bad, and ugly. lol) http://www.geocities.com/palmNFP/otherprograms.html#programs

I think it can be valuable to learn about even if it doesn't apply to the person right now. Maybe opening it to only those over 18? just my two bit opinion... but I'm in for the discussion either way.
marielapin
The same website has other software you can buy for your computer and a web-based fertility tracker. Then I just saved it on my computer and I can print it out whenever I want to . I could even save the actual info on the computer but its easier to just write it down. If anyone wants a copy, just PM me, I'll send it to you.
IcePrincessKRS
Oh my gosh, I totally want a copy! lol I think its way easier to write it all out, too. I can keep it right on my bedside table, etc. I was just posting the other computer programs for those who were inclined to use them. I'll PM you. Birgitta Noel
LOL, I love the Palm software! Thanks! Of course can you imagine the embarassment now if I lost my palm! Hmmm, Birgitta goes off contemplating password protecting her palm......
GodsThespianChic
Well, I think that the board is a good idea...and I understand that you wouldn't want to expose children to details, but I would like to learn more about it, even though I won't be using it for like 10 years to come (LOL). I figure that it is best to know things before you have to know them, right?

Ash Wednesday
I gotta start thinking about learning NFP and knowing my fertility. My best friend and her sister use it with flying colored success in their marriages. I'm not married and probably won't be for like, at least a couple more years. But I should get on it ahead of time!
Laudate_Dominum
I've always been curious about NFP too. I don't know if I'd want to hear all the intimate details. But I'm curious about what it's like for couples who use it. Especially couples that maybe used to contracept, how it has changed their relationship, etc.. IcePrincessKRS
BUMP again Ash, I think NFP is really good for women to use even if they're not married--not practice as in "contraception" but with the charting and all, it really helps you keep a grasp on how your body works, etc. I remember Marielapin once saying that she could tell when she wasn't being good to her body with her diet (like eating too much junk food I guess?) from her NFP charts. I think aside from the benefits you get when you're married, we women can really gain alot from learning NFP. My book arrived today. I was totally suprised. 3-7 days shipping and it arrives the day after I placed my order! (yay for amazon.com lol)
