cmotherofpirl
Since my bedroom is undergoing repairs, this is my current religious corner: Advent candles, Jesse tree and Nativity.
sine modo
I always have one in my bedroom - a small table or chest of drawers with a nice cloth on it, an icon I bought in the Greek islands, a candle and incense burner, sometimes I put a rosary on it and there may sometimes be an icon or statue of Our Lady too. Once I had it one the floor with a wooden cross made out of two branches tied together. I did try a space under the stairs but felt invaded when it was found and mocked by a brother in law so I don't have them publically now. It's a private, peaceful space that grounds me and recharges my batteries and spend even a short time with a more intense focus in God. A priest once told me that when you paint your house it's good to paint crosses on all the walls then paint over them so that they are always there with you and protect your home from malign influences and claim it totally as a place for Christ to dwell. CatherineM
I had my corner with my advent wreath. I went through two sets of candles this year, and I bought ones that were 4 inches square and 6 inches tall. My husband doesn't like candles, so all the more incentive to pray longer. Good thing I can get them at the dollar store.
